MY STORY

   

Hi, my name is Lyn Steven Maher, inventor of E-Z PLANK. E-Z PLANK was invented out of necessity. I was involved in an accident where I broke my hip. As I was rehabbing, I would do two of my go to exercises: planks and pushups. After doing my planks and pushups on the floor, I found it very hard to get back up. I would always do them next to a chair to help me get back on my feet. This took more energy than I had at that point. I would dread doing them because they were very hard for me to do. So, I just stopped doing them. 

 
 

That’s when I thought “there’s got to be an easier way of getting started doing these exercises again after a long layoff or an injury”. I got the idea to use a platform that I could lean against at an easier angle to get started, controlled by linear actuators that could move the platform to lower, more difficult angles as I gained strength. This worked perfectly! And after a few weeks, I could do my planks and pushups at an angle almost parallel to the floor. Now, after I was done, I wouldn’t have to find a chair to help me get off the floor. I would just use the remote control to ride it all the way up to a vertical position where it was easy to get off. It made my rehab much easier!

Although E-Z PLANK was originally invented to make it easier to do planks and pushups, it has now evolved into a total-body exercise machine! I love it and use it every day and have never felt so strong!

Get in your good plank position at the top angle and then, ride it all the way to the bottom.....

hold there for a while and then bring it back up.....that's not easy that's HARD!


SECTION 3 - DUMBBELL PRESSES IN-MOTION

Do your dumbbell presses while in the whole-body vibration mode and then put E-Z PLANK in motion!

SECTION 4 - PUSHUPS

Doing your pushups in the whole-body vibration mode while in motion tremendously increases the intensity and your results!

Electromyography (EMG) test shows more muscle stimulation!

Witness the difference: Our trainer executed a conventional plank for 37 seconds (depicted in blue) and then replicated the same duration while in The Whole-Body Vibration mode (depicted in orange). Muscle stimulation during the conventional plank ranged from 1-4 per second, whereas the E-Z PLANK yielded 3 to 39!
